Announcing Davis Treybig’s promotion to General Partner
Oct 29, 2025
We’re thrilled to share that Davis Treybig has been promoted to General Partner at Innovation Endeavors.
Davis joined the firm six years ago and quickly became a cornerstone of our team. He combines extraordinary technical insight with deep empathy for founders - a rare mix that has made him a trusted partner to both entrepreneurs and colleagues alike.
From his deep dives into foundation models like this one, to his investments across software and computing infrastructure, machine intelligence, and tools for builders - Davis has consistently demonstrated a unique ability to see around corners and spot the systems that will define the next decade. He led our investments in Inception, Capsule, Extend, Mesa, Earthly, Bauplan and Dosu and has been deeply involved in our investments in Augment, Responsive, Panther and Continual - a portfolio that reflects his conviction in AI-native platforms and the tools that empower builders.
He’s also the first person many founders call when they want to spar a new idea. Whether it’s co-writing a PRD at midnight or moving heaven and earth to help one of his companies source and secure a founding engineer, Davis brings the same energy and curiosity to every conversation. Inside the firm, he’s the first to dive into a technical debate, the one who pushes all of us to think more clearly through his open and honest reflections - and, of course, our undisputed Topo Chico enthusiast.
We couldn’t imagine a better person to help shape the future of our firm. Davis embodies the curiosity, rigor, and generosity of spirit that define the best builders - and we can’t wait to see what he helps the next generation of founders create.
