Dorian Merritt joined Innovation Endeavors as Chief Financial Officer and Partner in 2023. Dorian has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. She started her career at PwC and went on to serve as Controller for a publicly traded software company before transitioning into alternative investment accounting where she has worked at several venture capital firms including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sierra Ventures, and ONSET Ventures. Most recently, she was the Chief Financial Officer at Tenaya Capital.

Dorian is an active CPA and received a BA in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz where she was a Regents Scholar and graduated with Highest Honors. She received an MS in Accountancy from San Jose State University, where she also graduated with Honors. Dorian is also a former accounting lecturer at both UCSC and SJSU.

In her spare time, Dorian enjoys photography, ultra endurance running and spending time with family and friends on her small farm in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
