That became the thesis for the firm he'd build, and a pretty good investing thesis too. He co-founded Innovation Endeavors with Eric Schmidt and built it around what he calls the Super Evolution: sensing, compute, and robotics have been accelerating and converging, allowing founders to finally re-architect industries that were too complex, too physical, or too slow to change.\nDror holds an MBA from Stanford and a BS in Computer Science and Bioinformatics from Ben-Gurion University, where he studied applying computer science to biology back when that was still fringe.\nHe never made it to space. "bio": "Davis primarily invests in computing infrastructure & tools for builders (e.g. developers, designers, and engineers). He spends most of his time following engineering and research trends in computer science - areas like virtualization, databases, machine learning, computer graphics, and distributed systems - and invests in companies drafting on technical advances in these areas. \nDavis likes to work with teams going after hard, ambitious problems that require significant early R&D, in many cases building on significant research work. At the same time, he is drawn to teams with world class product & design thinking. He believes that design & user experience are severely underrated in technically complex categories. \nBefore Innovation Endeavors, Davis was a product manager at Google, working on the Pixel phone and the developer platform for Google Assistant - the latter sparking his interest in developer tooling and software infrastructure.\nDavis double-majored in computer science and electrical engineering at Duke University, where he graduated valedictorian of the engineering school. He grew up in Austin, Texas, where his family owns 20 cows. He misses the BBQ, country music, and hill country vibes.",
